2004 February 27th Meeting Wyoming Business Alliance support and participation in the Wyoming Conservation Alliance in order to receive updates on federal register matters relating to water and natural resource issues in Wyoming.
2003 November 20th Meeting Support the Transmission Authority Concept. August 28th Meeting Acceptance of the Wyoming Economic Index Guideline for Prosperity Project and the Voting Record. May 29th Meeting Approve creation of the Wyoming Economic Index, Prosperity for Wyoming’s Future Prosperity Project including support for the development, administration and coordination of a non-partisan and objective Wyoming BIPAC program, based on a two year trial commitment.
2002 November 21st Meeting Oppose Municipal bonding authority which could enable local government to purchase investor owned utilities that currently distribute electricity and natural gas.
August 23rd Meeting Position urging the Wyoming Department of Transportation expedite the reconstruction of US 287 between Dubois and Togowotee Pass area and that the construction period should be three years with some interruptions, but not total closure. Reaffirm favorable position regarding interstate and interlatta long distance telephone services. Support passage of a state ethanol tax credit, with a cap of $2 million per facility, by the Wyoming legislature. May 17th Meeting Approval of a Public Relations Campaign regarding the economy, basic industry and tax policy.
February 22nd Meeting Support of HB 101 (Workforce Development) and HB59 Substance Abuse. Oppose raising severance taxes.
2001
May 24th Meeting Support petitions of the State of Wyoming and Agriculture and the Minerals industry requesting Secretary of Interior Gale Norton to rescind the Jack Morrow Hills decision of former Secretary of Interior Bruce Babbitt.
Agreement to sponsor Wyoming Business Alliance/Wyoming Heritage Foundation "mini-forums" in selected communities across the state to increase membership.
August 24th Meeting Support the development of additional four land state highways within the State of Wyoming, with 200 miles to be completed within ten years.
Support the development of jet airline service in the State of Wyoming. Recommendation that the Wyoming Energy Commission take action regarding electric generation transmission, natural gas takeaway and other items.
Support Qwest’s application for long distance and telecommunication services.
November 15th Meeting Modify the August 24, 2001 Steering Committee motion regarding air service in Wyoming to focus on the importance of intra and interstate air service, regardless of whether reliable service is provided by regional jets or prop jets.
Agreement that the Teton County Land swap project has great economic potential for the state and that Wyoming Business Alliance should be involved.
Support the concept of the Green Mountain Resort Project, including potential state financial assistance by way of bonding.
Support of the Leadership Wyoming endowment agreement framework between the Wyoming Heritage Foundation and the University of Wyoming.
2000
May 18th Meeting Position in favor of coal bed methane development.
Decision to prepare a Wyoming Business Alliance briefing "talking points" on timbering and forest service.
November 16th Meeting Position regarding the State Budget.
Resolution to work with the Western Natural Gas Producers Authority on natural gas transportation and pricing issues.
Adopt in concept a matching grant infrastructure program for the State of Wyoming.
1999
November 18th Meeting Develop a Wyoming Business Alliance position regarding the budget for the forthcoming budget session.
Oppose President Clinton’s roadless areas initiative involving some 40 million acres of national forest land in the nation.
Oppose the draft EIS developed by Yellowstone National Park for alternative B and supporting the county commissioners revised alternative E for winter use in the park.
General Agreement opposing the U.S. Forest Service proposed alternative for the Thunder Basin National Grasslands EIS.
Reaffirm the Wyoming Business Alliance’s concern about TMDL water policy issues affecting the state.
May 21st Meeting Approval of the proposed land swap between the Union Pacific Resources and Bureau of Land Management and other parties.
February 19th Meeting Decision to change the name of the Wyoming Heritage Society to the Wyoming Business Alliance and that the name Wyoming Heritage Foundation would remain Wyoming Heritage Foundation.
Change the title of Executive Director to President for the chief paid staff person and to change the titles for the volunteer leadership from President, Vice-President and Past President to Chairman, Vice Chairman and Past Chairman.
Adopt the Leadership Wyoming program and the partnership with the University of Wyoming.
Reaffirm the Wyoming Business Alliance’s (Wyoming Heritage Society) support of Brownfields legislation (SF147) and to convey to the Governor our support for its passage.
1998
November 19th Meeting Change the Wyoming Heritage Society’s name.
September 8th Meeting Proceed with the Heritage 200 Campaign, comprised of: Center for Leadership and Public Service; Enterprise Center; The Wyoming Forum and Membership Development.
May 14th Meeting Approve a resolution supporting the efficiency, concepts and philosophy of the Royalty-In-Kind legislation, at the federal level HB 3334.
Discussion regarding affiliation by the Wyoming Heritage Society with People for the West.
February 20th Meeting Support for Wyoming Business Council.
1997 November 20th Meeting Motion to develop a Wyoming Heritage Society statement regarding air service in Wyoming in conjunction with the Wyoming Operators Association.
Support and endorse the Steering Committee for Economic Development’s recommendations regarding a new economic initiative for Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council.
Consensus for Wyoming Heritage Society to express concern about limiting snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park.
February 20th Meeting Support a Wyoming Heritage Society "Statement on Education Principles".
1996 November 21st Meeting Endorsement of the Governor and RAC and to advise the Department of Interior of the wishes of the main sectors of the Wyoming Community, through broad-based local input so the Wyoming RAC will continue to truly reflect the interests of Wyoming.
